When you've got only scant bits of free time on hand it's a mystery as to how new art ever gets made. In the case of this little sweetie, she's been on our minds a long time now. I'm pretty sure that I have a napkin with the original doodle (from over 8 years ago) tucked away in one of my "memory boxes". That is how things happen for us. I have ideas that get cataloged, filed, and stashed away until that magic hour when there is time to create AND the mood hits us. Well, those stars aligned the other night, so Aaron and I sat down to bring this little gal to life. As I said, we have lots of paintings on deck...waiting to be finished...but this sweetheart grabbed our attention because of her simple and classic design. She's very much like the style of tattoos that Aaron draws. Nice lines and pastel tones that aren't over rendered.
So now that she's done, you can take her home if you'd like. We are offering her as an 8 x 10 matted ready to frame print.
