Time for true confessions.
I know you have a bookmark folder on your computer
with 50+ tutorials of things you'd like to make.
True?
True.
Right?
It's not just me, right?
So, I'm resolving
(starting after my Summer road trip)
to do one project a week.
Want to join me?
You can do it!
You don't have to do the same projects,
but let's do some of these things we've always wanted to do.

The first thing on my list are pillowcases.
out of Robert Kaufman's The Cow Says Moo line
(which I got for $3/yd at my favorite discount fabric place)
for his 4th birthday and
I've wanted to make him matching pillowcases for forever. So I'm going to use tutorial from Little Birdie Secrets
using the left over fabric from the quilt.

I better get a move on with these ones!
These backpack towels by The Train to Crazy
are so awesome!
Then the kids can carry their own towels to the beach and pool
But we only have a few weeks left of "summer",
so maybe I should bump this to first priority?

A crayon roll has been on my list for FOR-EVAH!
I really like this tutorial by the Pleated Poppy.
Once I was even contemplating making them
for all my nieces and nephews,
but we see how that turned out :)
I even have all the interfacing and everything.

I'm still waffling on this one, because I kind of
want a hard case to tote my machine around.
However, I think one of these would be cool for everyday storage.
I really like the one MakeItandLoveIt made a tutorial for.

Trick or Treat bags.
I've always been a plastic pumpkin kind of gal,
but then I started seeing adorable handmade treat bags,
and I've been thinking my kids need them.
I love the applique and embroidery version that
The Sometime Crafter made.#6
If you're a blogging crafter and you don't know Dana,
then let me introduce you to her:)
She's awesome.
I love her summer scarf tutorial.
I'm not a scarf wearer, but I think this one is just so darling!
I am just a bit weary of sewing with elastic thread though.
So, there you have it.
My craft to-do list for the next month or so.
Oh! And I also have to fit making Halloween costumes
and the Fall Etsy orders.
Should be a piece of cake, right?
Crumb cake?
Mmmm . . . cake :)
